Yamato Takahiro X Kaze no Stigma: In Memoriam

Condolences, Kaze no Stigma author Yamato Takahiro, you may have passed away, but your work will forever be remembered

Reminiscence

It’s been 2 years since the good ol’ Kaze no Stigma days, and boy was it one heck of a ride. To those who’ve been with this blog since those days when we were just starting out, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for supporting this n00b.

Though now that I think about it, our blog was even more made of epic win back then, because those KnS posts, despite being ‘unpolished’, filled with typos and grammatical errors, and overflowing with n00bness, were MADE OF LOVE, and all those who read ‘em most likely felt that too. And as I type this post, I can still… remember love.

love & peace~ V

Kaze no Stigma was the first ever series I blogged from start to end (how the heck I managed to make those posts with batshit insane ‘deep frying’ back then is beyond me), first series I blogged [semi-live] straight from Japan, the first light novel I ever read (in moonspeak!), the first series to make me feel the JOY of watching/blogging an anime with a ‘community’, one with fans in supporting this underdog of a series… definitely makes for a warm and fuzzy feeling.

It was, and will forever be, oh so special to me.

KnS: Past, Present, Future

Man, this is so sad… saying goodbye to Yamato Takahiro is short for saying “Goodbye Kaze no Stigma, as we have all feared, we really won’t get to see how the whole story ends, we won’t get to see any more Kazuma x Ayano antics either. Goodbye hopes for a second season, goodbye hopes for KnS anime adaptation justice”

Kazuma x Ayano is my OTP

I never even got to finish (or even formally start) my review/summary of the 4th and 5th Ignition novel (which were zOMG DOKI DOKI), gave nothing else but a teaser, o poor KnS fans who I simply kept at arms’ length :(

While I sort-of made up for it with this manga review post, I still failed to show my love for the novels.

Ren huggg!

Kaze no Stigma isn’t really the PINNACLE OF ANIMES, I can’t even bring myself to recommend it to anyone, no matter how special it is to me. But it was fun… real fun.

Kaze no Stigma started out on an epic note, screwed up along the way, ended up in a ‘trainwreck’. Either way the characters stood out, Ayano x Kazuma is my OTP, somewhat how I imagine my relationship will turn out to be once I’m finally in one, an ever-so-teasable Ayano, hopefully paired up with a much better Kazuma (hawtness and badass levels definitely a PLUS), but ahh I digress.

A trainwreck it might have turned into, but forgettable it is not. Even the WTF GIANT TURTLE won’t be forgotten.

I’m still tsundere for it, but all things considered, I still love it.

Kazuma x Ayano: A Tribute

credits due to the ones who made these AMV/tributes

For the love of Kazuma x Ayano~!

If you ever feel like reminiscing Kazuma x Ayano’s “moments”, this one’s for you:

Byebye Yamato Takahiro, byebye Kaze no Stigma  I’ll forever be a fan~~~

And the million dollar question is, when will I ever get to write about those darn novels. Gotta wonder if people would still be interested to know about them o.O * put your hands up~! *
