Yes, I admit I have been pretty tardy at following Negima lately, no thanks to the irregular releases. Anyways, after a LOOOOOONG hiatus, we’re back with 288!
Ayaka and co. head back to Mahora after getting Eva’s summons. Looks like Ayaka’s consortium is getting really close to some sensitive material, now that “Mars” has been mentioned by her.
And finally, Makoto Ookouchi gets her own share of the limelight, even more so by dealing critical blows to Negi.

Geez, Negi, were you really -that- clueless about the girls’ feelings?
Not stopping with just that, she even reveals Yuuna’s identity as well.
And Negi’s head ASPLODES with the sheer denseness and magnitude of the revelations. Looks like Akira’s a much more deadlier foe to Negi than the whole of Mundus Magicus + Cosmo Entelachia combined.

I wonder, is Chiu’s feelings considered anger + annoyance or is it jealousy by now? So hard to tell sometimes, hurr.
Praying for more regular releases of Negima right now. They really should be on the final buildup to the whole Mundus Magicus crisis arc by now.
