Dance in the Vampire Bund 03

This part was fun to watch. Knowing that your school chairman is also a vampire queen and a student sure does result in some interesting facial expressions.
Hm, this episode wasn’t too bad for a change. The lack of random vampire-underling-thug henshin scenes did help. I’ve also come in to terms that this is an original story that just takes the world setting of the manga and retells the story, so I’ll be looking at this more objectively from now on. One thing I still need to get used to is the cinematography style of Shinbo though.
There’s also a new character introduced, Meiren, who’s a vampire and seems to have some sort of infatuation with sweat. Coming from a Kobayashi Yuu character… I don’t feel surprised at all.
Admittedly, one part I like about the anime is more screentime for the maids. I loved their 4-panels at the end of the manga volumes, and now they are getting their own segment at the end of every episode!
